Just a quick reminder: HMAb: The Fundraiser is taking place on February 5th at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto. Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased in the right-hand column of this blog. Naomi Harris, Daniel Ehrenworth and Brett Gundlock will be speaking about their latest projects. And 40 photographers have donated work to a silent print auction. All money raised from the sale of their prints will go directly to Heather. You can join the Facebook event page here. If you’re curious to know why we’re raising funds for Heather, please refer to “Some Good News and Some Bad News“.
Toronto-based photographer Angela Lewis has contributed an image to the fundraiser!
In addition to shooting fashion and editorial assignments, Angela has spent time working on two interesting personal projects. Her main website is under construction at the moment but her commercial portfolio can be seen on Grasshopper Reps and she regularly updates The Angeblog. Last January she started a photo-a-day project entitled Polish My Lens where she set-out to photograph and post one thing each day in 2011. And her latest project – Woodies and Belles – has her photographing fashionable people in Trinity Bellwoods Park. Checkout examples of Angela’s work below:
