The super talented Stuart Campbell has agreed to join my Toronto Image Buyer panel. After many years of award-winning work, Stuart has recently moved from John St to Sid Lee. Stuart is a dream to work with and has always privileged good photography. In fact, he’s got some great much-better-than-vacation snaps of his recent trip to South Africa up at his fantastic blog here. Also, good friends and frank talking Art Buyers Anne-Maureen McKeating (Senior AB at Taxi) and Leila Courey (Senior AB at Leo) are also scheduled to join us.
In Vancouver, we’ve got Eric Arnold, Art Director from Dare, an innovative agency doing neat-o work. Plus, I’ll also be joined by Nora Ahem, Managing Director of Village&Co. who’s agency is described as:
Village&Co. is a unique agency dedicated to social media. Located at the corner of Twitter & Facebook, just down the street from Foursquare & Tumblr. We know this neighbourhood — let us introduce you. firstname.lastname@example.org
During this section of the night we’ll be talking about Risk from the other side of the table- how important it is for the agency and the Art Buyer to take risks. And of course, we’ll all be there to answer any questions you might have. So- no harm in prepping!
And to build your excitement even more, here’s a video from Rep Heather Elder who talks about how Image Buyers are exploring lots of new ways of finding talent:
Many more vids and Risky stories from working photographers await you at the talk- less than a week away! Buy your tickets now!
