Here’s the thing. HMAb has been at it for over a year now (including some sporadic time off) and I think it’s time for some changes. So, consider yourself warned: the regular columns that you’ve grown to love may morph into something else or reappear, suddenly, on another day. Stay-tuned over the next couple of months as we reorganize the content and do a little redesign too.

Hmm, I like that idea. It’d be great to feel like I’m not the only out there trying to figure this industry out every day.

The idea of following a commercial Photographer trying to get work appeals to me. I’m a Calgary based photographer for the past 7 yrs.
I like to think that I am part of the market here. although sometimes it feel’s as though it’s a struggle to find work…
I do alot of personal work, for promos and e-mails.
I have a fairly steady editorial client base. Shoot alot of products, and interiors and try to get as much advertising work as possible.
This may idea may actually help me to do more cold calling, and portfolio showing locally and across Canada.
Anything happening with this yet? I know I emailed and would be super into writing it…or at least reading someone elses!
