Today’s lounge is about you. First 25 people to email me their favourite new personal promo get posted – Heather and I will then pick 5 and talk about them on the blog over the next couple days.
Regardless the first 25 get posted so the world can see what we get too see.
Series are acceptable provided the promo series is not a book. Series count as one.
Update: Let me be very clear on the definition of a promo. This is a body of work (or single image) that you are already sending to agencies, PE’s, and clients as promoting yourself. This is not a call for just images. Must be a real promo. Give me details and context in the email if need be: ie: this is a small circ promo hitting 40 people or I created this in hopes of landing a car client.
Rules:
Must be shot in the past 6 months. I can’t verify this so you are on your word. If you haven’t shot a promo in the past six months you have some work to do. If you have been ‘too busy’ to shoot a promo in the past 6 months you certainly do not need us to talk about your promo’s.
Limit: One submission per photographer – single or series. If you send more than one you are disqualified.
No ‘Dutch angles’ – If you have to ask you are too young to use them anyway.
Images do not become property of HMAb.
By submitting you agree to the possibility of having your promo discussed and dissected openly on the blog. This could hurt.
